Beechfork Outdoors was started by brothers George and Fergus McCain. As children growing up on a central Kentucky cattle and tobacco farm our spare time was often spent fishing, catching crawdads, and frog gigging in the summer while whitetail deer and squirrel hunting in the fall.
As we got a bit older we were eventually able to go pheasant hunting with our father once every few years in the Midwest. Hence, upland bird hunting and shooting sports became a memorable part of our lives. Now as young adults this passion for agriculture and outdoors is still a very big part of our life.
As owners and operators of Beechfork Outdoors it is our mission to provide a safe and entertaining outdoor experience that will become a tradition for all of our clients.

Sporting Clays
Friendly competition is always a great way to bring sportsmen and women together. We have designed and created a course that will challenge both experienced and novice shooters. Our two mile sporting clay course offers 12 stations. Each station exhibits its own unique environment with scenery and thrower trajectory that changes throughout the year. Often referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” sporting clays has become one of America’s fastest growing sports. With a price structure similar to a round of golf, sporting clays is an affordable sport or hobby that you won’t outgrow.
Our ever popular station coined “The Swamp Rabbit” as well as midis, battues, and other rabbit clays will keep you hopping as the course leads you through pond, creek, and timber settings that will keep you guessing at every turn! With scorecards and golf carts available, bring your competitive side with you to ensure bragging rights with your buddy!

Our Sporting Clays course offers a creative and energetic opportunity for your business or organization to display appreciation for employees, clientele and even non-profit fundraising opportunities. Located in Springfield, Kentucky, our 12 station course spans over two miles of scenic terrain, displaying a variety of challenging shots for both novice and experienced shooters alike.
Group packages as well as an on- site meeting room, lodging, meals, and catering can be tailored for groups of all sizes. Our “Safety First” environment also offers Golf cart and gun rental, making this an option for anyone in your group. Prices starting at $35 per person offer a unique and affordable experience that both employees and clients are sure to appreciate!
Whitetail Deer and Spring Wild Turkey Hunts
To go along with upland bird hunting we also have been blessed with properties that have an abundance of deer and turkey. Our whitetail deer and wild turkey population offer the perfect setting for youth and bow only hunts. As a longtime friend and trusted partner, Matt Browell offers extensive experience and passion for hunting. As a commercial guide Matt along with our other guides will prove to provide a safe and fun experience that will create memories of a lifetime!
For bow hunters, Kentucky offers the rare early season opportunity to harvest a whitetail buck still in velvet. All the scouting and food plots will be in place to insure an exciting hunt. Moreover, our Youth Whitetail and Spring Wild Turkey hunts will place our youth and their guardians in a safe, comfortable setting while gaining knowledge and valuable tips from our very experienced guides.
